2025 Patria Family Reunion

Join us at Shocco Springs in Talladega, Alabama September 17-19 for the 2025 Patria Family Reunion. This year's event focuses on Fellowship and Building Relationships and will be filled with fun activities as well as having guest speakers and ministry sessions. Cost is $225 ($300 after July 1) per person double occupancy and $275 ($375 after July 1) per person single occupancy and includes your 2 nights lodging, 6 meals and conference registration. The cost for children staying in the room with an adult is: $30 for children 3-8 and $60 for children 9-17. Meal only plans are available for a limited time at $75.00 per person. Shocco is approximately 1 hour from the Birmingham, Alabama Airport (BHM) and about 2 hours from the Atlanta, Georgia Airport (ATL). Extra nights lodging and meals for those who wish to come early or stay longer can be arranged if requested with sufficient time in advance.

Ray Hughes

Ray Hughes lives in The Shoals Area of Alabama a stroll and a half from the Tennessee River, better known as the Singing River, with all its history and lore. Having traveled the world for over 50 years as an author, storyteller, songwriter, and poet, he currently continues his work from the porch of their historic downtown home. He is passionate about homemade cornbread, old guitars, his beautiful, Denise and five dazzling grandchildren… but not necessarily in that order. If you want to gain knowledge, read a book. If you want to gain a knowing, take a slow walk in the rain – then write about it.

The Location

Shocco Springs

The main conference center is called Bagley Hall and has wonderful meeting space, a coffee bar/gift shop and multiple common areas/lobbies for fellowship.

Lodging

Springview Lodge

Springview is attached to the Bagley Center and features hotel style accommodations with 2 queen beds in each room. Children under 18 staying with an adult may register for the cost of meals only

Activities

The photos show just a few of the activities to choose from. Free time will be exciting and fun. Some activities have an additional cost. We will send out a survey in advance to determine which activities we need to reserve.

Opening and Closing

You will be able to check-in after 2 pm on Wednesday and we will have dinner at 5 pm with an evening session to follow. Check out from hotel rooms is 9 am on Friday with a morning session and lunch following before we depart.

If you choose to come early or stay late the check in/out times are the same as above for the day you arrive/leave.
